About Me and my hike

I'm 35 and a wandering artist. I've done 16 artist residency programs since getting my master's degree in sculpture. They've taken to calling me the Wanderer. So figure some straight-up ramblin' is due, right? Walk across the country on the PCT! I've been a hiker and camper a long time, last summer (May 2009) was my first long-distance (and solo) trek. I did a 20 day, 300 mile Southbound trip on the Appalachian Trail from N. Adams, MA to the Delaware Water Gap, PA. I averaged 16 miles a day, took no zero days, and had a base weight of about 12 pounds. After my (hopefully) successful PCT thru hike I hope to "settle down" for awhile someplace warm-ish and sunny and find some employment (I'm broke!) and get back to the art-makin.
